Y’all are blowing me away with your creations 🥹

I knew the process of creating a website to turn your images into pixel quilt patterns would be a long (and costly!) process. But I never knew how much seeing each one of your creations would be so emotional.

Your creativity and patience to make these beautiful quilts has me feeling like a proud Mum every time someone sends me a photo or tag me in a post.

I knew the first time that I created a pixel quilt of a face that it was a process that I loved. I knew it was more than just a hobby, it was a process I wanted to fully embrace and make my own and then in that process I have been able to meet you all. You all have made the hard days softer, the bad days brighter and now over 2.5 years into this journey you are using this creation that I have poured my heart and soul into and you are creating such beauty ❤️

@leslie_quilts is one of the sweetest souls on the planet (and funny!! Her and @doughnutwarrior on the @inappropriatequilters podcast are so funny!) and when our paths crossed and she said she wanted to be a tester, I had no idea that her quilt would bring tears to my eyes.

The image of her beautiful Grandma is almost ethereal ❤️

I asked Leslie if I could share her image on this post so you can see the possibilities of your creation.

The final round of testing is about to draw to a close at which time the website will come down and we will work on all the final additions y’all have been suggesting. This is a first for me, a king sized quilt for my bed 😱

I’m literally so excited about finishing this bad boy 😂

The pattern is Lucky log cabins by @quiltylove the size is 114” x 114” and calls for 52 fat quarters. When I even contemplated making this at a retreat, I knew I’d been hoarding some Halloween fabrics for quite some time (I blame @kellybluebolt and @happytailsquilting for continuing to send me pictures of cute Halloween fabrics over the last 18 months)

So I amassed quite a collection of @lellaboutique Hey Boo line and some @rubystarsociety good spirits and tiny frights.

The quilt was cut into strips before the retreat and I could have pieced it in one day had I not started on the s’more martinis and spent the afternoon in the pool 😂

I sent the quilt to Houston to the wonderful Jazmine @quiltalchemy to quilt for me and she did me proud 🥰 I know this quilt gave her some heartache and problems but she was a total warrior and pushed through and has blown me away with her work ❤️🙏❤️

I think the #lellaboutique Frank cushion perfectly compliments the quilt and the binding from @sewingbysarahstore *chefs kiss* look at those tiny spiderwebs 🕷️ 🕸️ ❤️

I love everything about this quilt and I love that it will bring a touch of Halloween to my bedroom.

And now I want to make a Christmas one!!!😂🎅🏻🎄

And yes, I hand bound it (it took me 4.5 episodes of the real housewives!!)
